 After an extensive market research on the crossover category and realizing that Pakistan did not have much of options when it comes to a 7-Seater Multi-Purpose vehicle I finally booked Honda BR-V (S). Eventhough I was a bit reluctant to book the car at that time due to the automobile’s odd side mirrors which were gigantic and did not match the overall outlook of the body moreover I was expecting the car to be a bit in width however having driven the car for almost 2 years now I can proudly say that the decision I took at that time was very wise and Honda BR-V left me astonished in every aspect. The vehicle has a very strong 1.5 naturally aspirated I-VTEC engine which can produce 200Nm @ 1750RPM. The car has never failed to surprise me with it’s engine power and road clearance, comfort of the car is a bit compromised however it can be negated to all the features it owns.

Few Factors that are Amazing about the car

1.      Interior

The interior of the Honda BRV 2022 is lavish, featuring seven leather-wrapped seats. The tilt-adjustable, electrically driven steering wheel also contains audio control controls. A metre cluster with a multi-information LCD display that gives driver information and an Eco indicator is located behind the steering wheel.

Smart entry with a push-start button is available on the Honda BR-V 2022. The driver's seat is height-adjustable, and the second-row seats are fully folding and offer reclining, sliding, and tilting adjustments. The third row also has capabilities like 50/50 folding, fully folding, and one-touch tumble to increase boot room.

A 7-inch display screen in the centre fascia provides a navigation system, smartphone connectivity, hands-free telephone technology, Bluetooth connectivity, and other features. There's also an HDMI hookup and a USB port in the automobile. The entire car is kept cool with digital air conditioning with rear AC vents. There are 10 cupholders and a 12V power outlet in the automobile. Seatback pockets and a vanity mirror are also frequent additions.

Two airbags for the driver and front-seat passenger, seatbelts for all passengers, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), security alarm with immobilizer, and a rearview camera are among the car's safety features.

2.      Exterior

The design language of the Honda BR-V 2022 is aggressive and sleek. The front end features a new bumper with a contemporary grille, as well as auto-projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs). Fog lights are stylishly placed beneath the headlamps.

Power-retractable side mirrors and sun visors are standard on both sides of the Honda BR-V 2022.

The car's rear end features a chrome garnish with LED taillights on both ends. At the back of the car, there is a purposeful spoiler with a rear wiper and of course the very famous shark fin antenna can be found on the top of the Honda BR-V.

3.      Engine and Performance

Honda BRV 2022 comes with a 1497 cc 4-cylinder, 16 valve, SOHC I-VTEC engine, which can produce 200Nm @ 1750RPM. As I’ve discussed earlier the power of the car is very impressive and I had no issues while travelling uphill with 7 people on board.

4.      Ride and Handling

The Honda BRV 2022 offers a smooth ride and excellent handling. The suspension is a little rigid, which you can feel while driving, but the ride is comfortable overall. The car is simple to drive and to maneuver, especially considering the vehicle's 7-seater proportions. The Honda BR-V 2022 has an above-average riding quality.

5.      Maintenance and Availability of Parts

Since the vehicle is assembled locally by Atlas Honda Pvt. Ltd thus the after sales service and finding the parts of the car is not an issue. The parts are relatively cheaper than all of the current competitors who’ve entered the market recently.
