I bought my Hyundai Sonata in 2021 and the car was around 7,250,000PKR and the registration on car for Islamabad was 345,000PKR so total price of the car was 7,600,000PKR. Now according to me Hyundai Sonata is one of the best priced cars in its segment; it is the most value to money CKD (completely knocked down) sedan at the moment as compared to its overpriced competitors.
Hyundai Sonata falls in the category of a “D” Segment Sedan.
Few things I love about the car
Premium build quality
In Pakistan we have seen cars having issues on the first day of release or shortly after being launched but with the Hyundai Sonata I have never faced any such issue since the day I bought it.
Very spacious
As being a D category Sedan, the car is quite spacious; 5 people can easily sit in the car with ease.
Immaculate Grip
One of the best thing about the car is its road grip; I have seen Pakistani local cars slipping at turn on speed but this car is an absolute beauty in that area.
Value for money
The money for this car is too good to be true as Hyundai Sonata does not have any real competitors in Pakistan. What do I mean by not having a real competitor is that there is no car in this category which is being made in Pakistan.
Parts availability
As the car is being manufactured locally the part availability for the car is not a very big issue
Few improvement points I see in the car.
Engine noise
Hyundai Sonata has a 2.5-liter petrol engine and it produces 191 horse power. Although the engine noise is quite minimal but sometimes I feel that when the RPM (rotation per minute) is high, some of the sound does manage to get inside the car and that’s a discomfort.
Low ground clearance.
Hyundai Sonata has these beautiful 18-inch Alloy Rims that gives the car an exceptional look but with such large low profile rims I feel that every speed breaker in Pakistan is an enemy of my Car
Heated seats
One thing I really miss in this car is heated seats, though they are a luxury but still I would have really enjoyed them.

1. Honda Accord
Accord has a 1.5 turbo engine and is imported by Honda for its customers
Price: (15.5 – 16) million
2. Honda Insight
Insight is a very beautiful car. It has a 1.5 Hybrid engine and is not provided by Honda Pakistan so the customer has to import from Japan himself
Price: (7-8) million
3. Toyota Camry
Camry is one of the top notch car given to its customers by Toyota Indus. It has a 2.5 hybrid engine, Camry is imported and provided to its customers by Toyota Indus on demand
Price: 21.5 Million
4. Audi A4
Audi is a very famous German brand. A4 is a very
good machine; it comes with a 1.4 TFSI (Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection). A4 is also imported and delivered to its customers by Audi PakistanPrice: (9.3-10) Million
5. Mercedes w205 ( C class)
Mercedes is one of my Favorite brand in the automotive industry. Mercedes does not have a dealership in Pakistan so the majority of the Mercedes cars are imported into Pakistan by Shah Nawaz private limited.
There are a lot of variants of the C class with different prices.
